Question is.will Tijs Verwest (Tiesto) take us on a Magik Journey once more like he has done so many times before? While this is a disappointment for some and a joy to others, this new mix album Nyana was hyped for months. Over the last year or so, Tiesto has begun to change his style that we've all become accustomed to and hence, why we fell in love with him in the first place. His Magik and In Search of Sunrise mix complation series ARE the definition of what great track selections and excellent mixing (done live by Tiesto on turntables and not using ProTools like other Dj's) should all be about. Never (tiësto mix / filterheadz mix) - The Rock Project featuring Tina Arenaĭj Tiesto has, for the last 4 or 5 years, helped define the trance genre. Nothing (93 Returning Mix) - Holden & Thompsonįorever Waiting - Mr. U Write The Rules (Solarstone Remix) - Young Parisians In Your Eyes (Blue Mix) - Filterheadz Present Orange 3īeautiful Things (Gabriel & Dresden Remix) - Andain

Urban Shakedown (Original Mix) - Solar Factor Tears From The Moon - (tiësto in search of sunrise remix) - Conjure One Venus (meant to be your lover) (tiësto remix) - DJ Cor Fijneman featuring Jan Johnson Obsession (Frank Biazzi Remix) - Tiesto Vs. DJ Tiësto has never been one to follow a trend and Nyana is proof of his ever-changing skin as an artist.Chutney (Size 9 Reinterpretation) - Tom Mangan Completely going beyond the flash of Ibiza, the design of Nyana soars with a unique energy without sounding processed. Choppy vocals thrive in the techno haze of Holden & Thompson's "Nothing." Other select cuts from Motorcycle, Young Parisians, and Catcher round out this glossy second set. Disc two is much more concentrated behind the decks for a soothing, indoor vibe. His mix with Junkie XL on "Obsession (Frank Biazzi Remix)" is a vibrant juncture, while the title track and the Gift's "Love Angel" operate on pinch-hitting trance loops and heavy synth beats. Disc one raves with bright melodies and hypnotic soundscapes that are nicely tailored for an outdoor crowd, and DJ Tiësto's skill in switching tempos and moods captures an emotional atmosphere. This double disc is swamped with stylish trance beats and tinges of world inflections for one of DJ Tiësto's more sophisticated moments. DJ Tiësto voyaged to South Africa in early 2003 and such a trip led to the recording of Nyana. This is a continuous in-the-mix CD compiled and mixed by DJ Tiesto. Jan Johnston, Tina Arena, Tiësto, Sinead O'Connor
